The tryouts will be on Thursday, October 20th. You'll play along with the track, one person at a time.
I want you guys to dedicate to your medley as much as humanly possible this week! You only need to work on one: your strongest instrument.

I carefully selected each of the songs (some from my brains, some from other teachers' brains).
The first selection should be the easiest, the second a stepping stone to the final and most challenging tune--just like a video game. The last selection is probably too challenging to perfect in a week. The first two you should be able to get.
Do your best, no need to freak out...I'm anticipating some mistakes. If/when you make a mistake during the try-out, jump back in the song like nothing happened. I'm looking to see what can be done in a week.
What you are not able to complete in a week, I want you to figure out a simplified version to play along working your way up to the actual part. All I'm asking for is your best, just put your heart into it and that will represent you:)
The continued goal of the house band is to create a well-rounded group of our elite: musicianship, reliability, discipline, comradery, and fun.
The panel of judges will include: Liam, Mr. B, and myself. Other teachers may be there as well.
